Drive Taxi in Victoria
Drive taxi with Premium Taxi Service, there are certain requirements.
Minimum requirements
Here’s what you need to do, before you can drive taxi:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid full driver’s licence in your state or territory
- Have held a full driver’s licence in any Australian state or territory for at least 12 months (in Victoria you require a full Australian or New Zealand driver's licence for a minimum of 6 months)
- Provide all the necessary documents required in your state or territory
Required documents
Before you could apply for driver accreditation you need
- A valid, full driver’s licence for your state or territory
- Your passport or birth certificate
- Any other documents required in the state or territory you plan to drive in
Work Rights
- Have valid work rights in Australia
